This policy explains what personal data GenZ Tech collects through genztech.agency, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

GenZ Tech is a remote digital agency operating from Pakistan. For any privacy question, contact us at info@genztech.agency. We are the data controller for the information described here.

2. What we collect

• Information you give us. Name, email address, company name, preferred contact method, project description, budget range, reference links, and any file you attach when you submit our quote, contact, or newsletter forms.
• Estimator requests. If you ask us to email you an estimate from the planner on our homepage, we store your name (if given), email address, the project options you selected, the figures we quoted, and your IP address — so we can send the estimate and follow up on it.
• Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and time on site — gathered through Google Analytics 4.
• Communications. Emails and messages you send us, kept so we can respond and maintain a record of the engagement.

We do not knowingly collect payment card details through this website, and we do not collect special-category data.

3. Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, send an estimate you asked for, and prepare a quote or proposal — on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To deliver and support a project you have engaged us for — on the basis of performing our contract.
• To send occasional updates if you subscribed to our newsletter — on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running an effective website.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visitor behaviour. GA4 sets cookies that identify a returning browser and record which pages are viewed. IP addresses are anonymised by Google before storage.

We also store a small preference in your browser to remember your light or dark theme choice and whether you have dismissed our cookie notice. These are functional and contain no personal data.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect how the site works. To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Who we share it with

We use a small number of processors to run the site and our business:

• FormSubmit — delivers our website form submissions to our inbox.
• Brevo — sends transactional and newsletter emails.
• Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
• Our hosting provider — stores site files and server logs.

Each processes data only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.

6. International transfers

Some of the services above store data outside your country, including in the EU and the United States. Where data originating in the EEA or UK is transferred, we rely on the transfer safeguards those providers have in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiries and estimate requests that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months. Records relating to projects we delivered are kept for up to 7 years to meet accounting and legal obligations. Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email info@genztech.agency and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS and access to enquiry data is limited to team members who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information and will notify you of any breach affecting your data where we are required to.

10. Children

Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
